The Amalfi Coast in Italy is one of the most magical places on Earth to have a destination wedding. I had the honor of capturing Jenny and G’s love story surrounded by their loved ones from around the world. There was so much love, joy and beauty experienced during their week that this journal entry will be in two parts. Enjoy this visual delight of their one of a kind wedding in Italia.
The happy couple’s wedding was hosted at Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, Italy. Accessible only by foot, down winded paths of stone with the occasional local cat, you are transported to another world all together.
The lush grounds are lined with florals and beautiful views of the landscape and sea. There is even a little cafe where you can get a refreshing beverage and fresh fruit salad to enjoy in the garden. The hotel is perfect for the wedding party with colorful tile, spacious accommodations and friendly service.
A smooth satin shoe by Jimmy Choo compliments the elegance of our bride. Some sweet touches included a Limoncello Sorbet Parfum with lemon candies which the region is known for growing.
The couple had an intimate ceremony that was filled with string music from local musicians, flower petals that lined the aisle and bright pink florals that framed the couple as they exchanged vows.
The wedding had a gorgeous color palette of bright pinks and purples along with hints of blue and yellow from local pottery and lemons.
Post-Ceremony, Jenny and G took a stroll to the infinity balcony to have a sweet moment to themselves. Sunset is the perfect time for portraits with the warm hued light.
A champagne tower is a unique and stunning centerpiece to get the party started during cocktail hour. I took some playful shots of the couple pouring the bubbly and then taking a generous swig from the champagne bottles.
The tablescapes used both fruit and florals to create a colorful and inviting atmosphere. Each guest also received a Limoncello shot on arrival as well as their own bottle by each setting. Music filled the air until nightfall when the dancing started for a night to remember.
