Elopements are more popular than ever (thanks pandemic!) but I truly love them. There is something so special about photographing an elopement and you know I am definitely down to travel! Here is a list of my top 10 elopement locations for 2022.

1) Washington State. The mountains, the water, the greenery, if you are down for a little bit of a hike I am down to snap the most amazing photos!

2) Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Say hola to warm weather and walks on the beach! Often Mexico nuptials can be a full on wedding but the potential to do just an elopement followed by solo time as newlyweds is just too good to pass up.

3) Phoenix, Arizona. I like Arizona not only because of the painterly landscapes but for the amazing restaurants, spas, and other amenities located throughout the cities there.

4) Portland, Maine. If you like amazing water views and lighthouses this is definitely the spot for you. There is a bustling downtown as well as amazing views (like the Portland Head Lighthouse)

5) Florida. If you want colorful and close to entertainment spots, you can try Orlando or Miami for lush outdoor venues or colorful locations.

6) San Francisco. San Francisco has a variety of landscapes, fun touristy photo spots, and the best foodie scene.

7) Palm Springs, California. From Coachella to the literal desert, Palm Springs has a great vibe for photos! There are a ton of AirBnBs in the area as well which is another opportunity for some fun photos.

8) NYC, New York. If you two love the city, NYC (or any other big city!) could be a great spot to get married, grab a slice of pizza, and get fun photos that show your personality off.

9) Yosemite, California. Yosemite is a beautiful national park that has stunning views for photos and is a park you should definitely experience.

10) Anywhere significant to you two. If you guys happen to adore a small town in Indiana, let’s do it!
