Full weekend weddings are starting to become the norm when loved ones are gathering from across the miles. Our couple gathered their loved ones in northern California to celebrate their wedding at Yokayo Ranch. There was an abundance of love, laughter and delicious feasts for the eyes and beyond.

The details throughout the day were kept very intentional. The jewelry pieces held special meaning to the bride and she opted to wear a signature scent and personalized all her stationary for the day.

The couple was able to get ready on site and got to enjoy some peaceful moments in the air-conditioned house before greeting guests in the hot weathered day.

Guests were greeted with a beautiful welcome sign and cool refreshments before taking their seat in the garden for the ceremony. The couple decided to keep the ceremony private, only for close family members and later invited the rest of their guests for a cocktail welcome party.

The couple shared their own handwritten vows to each other and shared a fairy tale kiss before leading their guests back into the reception area with cooling misters and celebratory bubbles.

After cocktails and family portraits, everyone gathered to have wood-fired pizza from Cultivo along with local brews and wine.

After dinner the couple had an intimate cake cutting moment from a local bakery along with champagne in their grandparents’ champagne coupes.

At golden hour on the first night we took the couple out with the venue owner to do portraits next door in a field of wheat. This was the perfect time for them to share an intimate moment away from the crowd to really soak in their marriage.

Guests were able to stay the night in the campsite on property and were treated to fruity spritzes and a small batch ice cream truck.

The abundance kept coming with a cigar bar and grazing table with a honeycomb centerpiece that drizzled onto fresh cut fruit.

For dinner, the couple opted for freshly made paella while being serenaded by a sax player.

The couple honored loved ones no longer with them with a memory wall. To keep the party going they also included an espresso bar with specialty lattes.

At sunset, we took the couple to the nearby vineyards to get some portraits in their second day outfits. They ended the night on the dance floor while giving away custom shirts to guests and changing into sparkly attire. This was a truly memorable weekend and we are so honored they included us in their special day!
