On a sunny morning amidst the dew coated flora, I met up with sweet Charissa and Joshua at Gamble Gardens. This historic property includes rose and herb gardens, a beautiful white gazebo and fountain that is perfect for special occasions such as maternity shoots.

Spring Maternity Sessions in Palo Alto are some of my favorite because everything is in bloom and there are so many unique locations to photograph at this charming public garden. You can rent this venue for weddings or other private events if you are looking for an outdoor venue.

One of the services we offer is styling assistance to bring a cohesive and dreamy aesthetic to portraits. We partnered with Clair De Lune luxury dress rentals to wrap Charissa in a delicate white long sleeve gown with ruched sleeves.

At maternity sessions, my goal is to really capture the love between the couple by really understanding their story and dreams. Sharing the excitement for their growing family and also honoring motherhood and reserving time for some solo portraits to really have her glow with her little one.

My suggestions for accessories are usually a nice drop earring set, your rings, bracelets. Also if you have a pendant or locket that is sentimental that would be a great addition as well!
